I heard NetApp was gearing up for layoffs. Anyone know anything?

Tomorrow? Thursday.
@7ldd+1amKSgIl – They figure you're going to have broadband anyway so they don't feel like they need to pay you anymore...
Not only rented but with capacity for less than half of the staff from previously and a number of smaller office complete closures round the world.
Work at home unless you have to and here is $50 a month to pay for it. No work from home tax benefit means $50 doesn't cut and you can't even claim the business expense on your tax return. Doesn't even cover the broadband let alone electricity, heating, office furniture etc.
Especially cr@p with such huge savings from office reductions. Perhaps this "bumper" year is being driven by cost savings and forcing staff to subsidize the company rather than legit growth??
Wow. I remember working there when they had 14 buildings. I agree they was most likely a lot of wasted real estate but to go from 14 to renting space within a 6 year period is pretty dramatic.
Better believe it. Move to new headquarters means layoffs.
