Counting days to my retirement. I couldn't stand it here for a few more years. There were both good and bad things, but overall, if I could choose again, I would never spend most of my career here.
I think I could have done a lot more had I been in another company. GM very often had no ear for good ideas.

Yes. When I left it felt like the shackles came off.
There was a time to grow at GM, and there was a time to spread your wings well beyond GM. I have not been disappointed.
Probably if your an engineer because of General Motors jobs like being the guy who calls the supplier of the adhesive on some specific part if it doesn't last until after the warranty period.
