It doesn’t suit me to be a part timer nor does it suit me to work with a new scheduling system (which is outrageous) and I decided to leave. I don't want to participate in this machine anymore. If I have to work part time, then I will find another company where I will be more valued part timer. I just wonder how many people will leave this company because of the new “great schedule ideas” which increasingly looks like an experiment on how much people can tolerate.

walmart always cuts hours. during this time. look at your first week of june schedules. i got my 40 back. it happens every year. then gets cut from fed to may again.
Total loser you are assuming all those things. You probably have all of those you listed and are looking in the mirror at yourself. None of those apply to me. Be gone no one have time for your bu—t.
How about YOU STFU? HOW ABOUT THAT. One there are plenty of people who have degrees and work at Walmart. Two I don’t have baby daddies or any children. Why be a nasty POS when people are writing in trying to have a conversation about what is going on we don’t need your worthless input or response. I have THREE interviews lined up so there is no problem with me finding other employment. So move along no one wants to hear your worthless input. Get a life. You trolling Walmart pages for what? We are dealing with what is going on wanting to have conversations with other employees and you come along with your worthless input no one asked for. You are a t r o l l.
Boo hoo. If you would have stayed in school and got that high school diploma maybe you’d have a real job. Or maybe if you didn’t have that felony conviction; or maybe if you didn’t have 3 children with different partners; or...... the list goes on. Face the facts, if you’re working for Walmart, there’s an underlying reason that forced you there. You’re better off just to stfu and fall in line. When your options are limited, there’s not much you can do.
Did you give two weeks? Do we get paid for pto and ppto when we leave? Just don’t get the old sick time? I have 62 hrs left in sick time from the old system.
Agree 💯 percent!!!! I took the offer feeling pressured in a lose lose situation. Did some more thinking and said NO THIS IS THE LAST STRAW. No staff, stress, and treated like garbage by management. Put up with it because of full time and benefits and got a decent schedule. But now they pushed me to far. Making employees work outside of their availability is wrong. They knew what you could and could not work very well when they hired you. After 10 years they are going to force me to work something I can not? How about Walmart hire people that are available to work nights until 11pm instead of forcing people to rearrange their entire lives who can’t work those shifts. It’s been a downward spiral and am hoping to get hired soon by another company.
