You got a watch?!?!? I save the company more than twice that & got nothing.
The procurement team probably took credit after I found a better price/quality product by bypassing their "lowest bid vendor".
I don't think they liked it that I was able to secure better pricing than the whole global procurement group. Vendors are tired of their constant global bids & contracts that rarely amount to any real sales.
The reason none of you are in management is because its not just as simple as a good idea...you might save here but costs more here.. you better let us do the thinking
I know one who saved over 1/4 M and got fired. And I mean true savings, not label-changing cheating as the other 80% of that transformation project beauty
