People used to put up with the toxic culture and “so called” leadership but now with layoffs, outsourcing, dinosaur at top, stagnating profits and a dividend that is hanging on for dear life and no prospects of growth, oh and hey forget about even thinking you have a shot for that coveted global assignment

The ship will not sink, just stagnate or maybe not be the leader anymore. Beyond that, it will be business as usual. The assets are already in place and have been operating for a long time, there is not a significant room for improvement else it would have already been made. Unless we make major capital investments to expand production which will be surplus capacity and unnecessary especially in the current technological and business climate, the operations will continue as usual.
The whole offshoring will probably help with cost management and make the company a little more efficient too reducing the overhead.
I lost my inspiration the day I started sending how toxic the work environment is complimented by incompetent useless managers and team leads. Signs of a sinking ship :)
