news must be getting around the mall that belk is in trouble because Multiple store managers from other stores have come into belk trying to recruit us. Dillard’s manager told me I can start tomorrow at Dillard’s if I wanted to. She said belk is still in serious trouble and it’s well known they are a sinking ship.

Dillard’s? Think twice. High expectations. You don’t meet your goal - you gone.
You think- work hard and everything’ under control? Example: I was at Dillards, shopping, of course, was approached by very nice salesperson. I selected 3 items, went to try on to a fitting room. Right next to it- a register and another salesperson, not busy, just standing there. I came out if fitting room, ready to purchase all my items ( Dillards level of price). Now, I understand how important this sale for a person who offered me help at first, right? I didn’t need her help, but she offered. I see her couple of sections away, helping a customer. Another salesperson still here, right by the register, still not busy, and offered to check me out. I’m hesitant, ( Again, I’m from same field, I understand the importance of sale numbers), but original lady is still busy, again, she didn’t do much for me, and fast checkout is so tempting! Guess what, I took it and checked out, on my way out stopped by my salesperson and apologized, that I saw her busy and checked out with somebody else. She said “It’s fine, it happens all the time...”, and she smiled. I sensed she was sad and tiered of this. Company doesn’t care, which tactic you use- working hard or preying on other associates customers. It’s up to you and your integrity. Sounds like fun environment?
I wish my mall had a Dillards. I’d be gone 6 months ago 🤣
