Hilcorp doesn’t want these properties. If they did, then the assets would have been sold long ago. Hilcorp usually approaches COP with unsolicited interest in assets just like they did in STX.

It feels different because you have no support. The hens have come home to roost. The real question is , “why did it take so long?”. Current management won’t tolerate the smoke. Wyoming assets are toast...bye bye...good riddance.
Hilcorp is always in the mix for assets we’re trying to sell, that’s my guess at this point
