Some would say that's great and that's how it should be, but I'm worried because I have less and less work to do.
I used to be busy, at times didn't even know if I was going to be able to finish all the work, and now I have almost nothing to do.
I'm afraid it's a big signal that they'll soon let me know that they don't need me anymore. How busy are you?

Hard to say, I know two people in marketing that did not have a whole lot to do right before the layoffs. One was in a new and largely undefined role - both were axed.
It could be due to the new operating model which created many layers of redundancy.
Some other people may have done the job for you.
By any chance are you a mid level manager in MMM ? Your comment about your work load and activity level is awfully similar to that of a typical mid level manager, especially someone in the Corporate Lab, in MMM.
