Transformation?? DOOMED

Why? To fully do what BP and redhead want, they need IT. And IT doesnt really exist at CF anymore. Just a bunch of energizer bunnies trying their best. Some VERY bright people worked there at one time, a few still there just biding their time, and then NO ONE will know how to keep the lights on. Just wait to see what happens when a few of those 441 systems go offline and customers and brokers can't purchase CF policies! [BP from the throne (forehead slap) - "Those damn IT people!"]

What percent would you say "transformation" depends on IT? 70%? 80%? More?

I think CF doesnt so much want to "have a presence" in the community as BDP says. . .once the IT transformation is done, everything will live in the cloud, and the "IT workforce" will just be a few babysitters to upgrades, and those will probably be contractors (cheaper you know). So CF doesn't really want employees in IT, in any community. Lay them off!

I'm beginning to think 'transformation' means 'replace the entire workforce.' I can't decide who is the real BDP - the one who cried during Friday's Zoom broadcast, or the one saying 'my way, or the highway!' ??

Complete laughing stock. If one area needs cleaned out/eliminated and out sourced it is HR.

Oh Angela and that HR team. WHAT A JOKE! They don’t want you to work there, they want you to leave. 20% reductions all around.

I heard they are going to change everyone's job titles in IT. . .again. Apparently this is in response to some "feedback." Uh, like "you took my expertise/knowledge/identity away and expect me to keep working to enrich you?? Think again!" Of course, this new round of title changes will of course be handed down without anyone actually looking at a resume, or asking what position you might want/aspire to/be best suited for. Smart.

You can’t have IT operations without IT! But go ahead with the outsourcing, soon everyone will be back on PCs. BTW let’s follow some of the Managers, Directors, VPs, a CIO and CEO that have no experience or skills to run business operations. It’s worked for the past year!

Oh by the way let’s waste millions on a VDI build out and then decided to roll everyone back to laptops. 🤦‍♂️

So sad to see so much money go down the drain. Especially when so many are in need of healthcare during this tragic time. :-(

$10M is for the PWC EAR work. $6.5M in 2020. Deloitte ... well let’s look back. $3M for the very effective org design - flush. Big reason for consultants - no effective thought leadership from within. Or they don’t believe those who tell them unless they’ve paid millions for an opinion.

They're already sourcing it and its costing millions. Wasn't reducing cost the point of all DK has done the past 2 years? How much has been spent on consultants so far? I heard +$10 mil just for Deloitte. Or was it PWC? At first he blamed Cog for not doing right by CF, now he is paying them big bucks. . .

Nah, they can source it all. Will be wobbly, but totally possible. $$$$$$
