It’s just a stall tactic by union so members don’t freak out yet. They know a strike means nothing if the company locks out its workers. It’s all for show.
Under 10 days and nothing but crickets from the union! The ballots that were sent out THIS WEEK by snail mail (That alone should speak volumes of the incompetence on Chelsea st!) might get to the union members on time but not back! Nothing like shooting yourself in the foot!
Meanwhile the hall leadership will still be getting paid. . . . . .
I hope you all have saved your money b/c you're about the spend the whole hot summer standing on a blistering street corner with a sign and no pay while the whole world goes on without you and longer you stay out the more everyone will resent you when your back for having to do your work. The public, and the politicians are not going to be sympathetic to you either... You're in for a lot of pain!!
If we have Frontier right where we want them, then why isn’t the contract signed? We have a little over a week before the expiration. I voted not to strike and I won’t strike if they vote yes. I say we take any offer Frontier gives us. Something is better than nothing. The techs destroyed this company!
