A friend who was laid off last year received a severance pay that she is quite happy with. I believe there are no changes, but I want to check if someone has heard any rumors that they might change the severance pay before the new round of layoffs everyone is talking about? Nothing would surprise me.
I hope I'm lucky enough to get out of here as soon as possible, I would gladly forget the severance pay if I get a better job.

the pkg last year was pretty good for legacy TMO and Metro folks. No idea if it will remain the same or change for the coming layoffs.
I'm certain there will be many more layoffs through the spring/summer, but that's a good question. I know TMO paid out whopping $$$$ for all those packages, i'm not sure they can afford to go that far again - but they might, who knows...
Was your friend a Legacy Sprint Employee or a Legacy T-Mo Employee?
