What's with the people from the bucket line working in the bar shop? Is this an effort to make more bars or simply to bill more labor?

Well a lot of flexing going on I highly question next years projected and anticipated fake orders. I’m 100% sure those are a dishonest projections to keep the union members so called working.
What is the point of the great onion again? Job security? Great wages and insurance? Great retirement? Where is the security working here and paying dues? Where is the great insurance package? Where is the above average retirement? Meanwhile people get flexed to do a lower rate position? They might keep their current rate for now but soon they will be making less once they bump out guys from the bar shop.
As they downsize they need employees to get use to working in other areas to replace as needed.
They said that the last 3 rounds of layoffs more work the following year. It’s a game they play to keep people working. If you knew your getting laid off soon would you pretend to work and manufacture for your employer? Doubt it! Get ready for it is all I can Suggest. Good luck t rates
More generator work in 273 for 2021 then there is manpower to do, with the flexed steam guys. So very doubtful of any 2021 layoffs when the truth is looked at. If the board members are passing the info on as their supposed to do be doing after Board meetings each month, the actual workforce would be informed of whats actually going on. If they are not doing their jobs, get the people together and remove them and replace with people that actually wanna do the elected job. Communication is the greatest failure of GE and Local 301, its complained about daily, yet it never gets fixed.
Save those sell out Bone-us’s while you can the next wave is about to begin.
They got flexed because they want to avoid layoffs. It never works it only prolongs and gives the company time to determine the exact number of people going to loose jobs
No buckets means no work coming down the pipe line.
Ahhh history is repeating itself again just a matter of time before the next wave begins. Get ready T’s Sumer off and layoff for you! How many of those looser T’s come back after this next wave? All of them! Ha ha
Getting them trained up for the layoffs coming up
Its called flexing. Instead of laying people off, they have flexed them for the time being. Not just the bar shop, field wind, punch line and bar shop to name a few places. Bucket Assembly guys have been told, there is no more rotors to build this year, lots of flexing time to be had. Take the 20 rate work as a 24 and 26, laugh all the way to the bank!!
