Clocking in on phone

Does anyone know when it will be available for all associates to time in on their phone?

Nowhere on the site does it say that you need to register your phone to be able to clock in like bring your own device. It will be part on the me@walmart app. You DO NOT have to register your phone to clock in and out from it SO YOU DO SOME RESEARCH before posting.

@iche It doesn't work that way. Do some research before you post

Once the timeclocks are updated from ETA to GTA syncing. Most stores are getting this next week.

It’s not part of bring your own device. You eventually will be able to clock in and out from the me@walmart app so they won’t be getting access to your phone. Doesn’t have to be registered like bring your own device.

If you have Walmart one and shopping app they already have access.

I worked in the Home Office and left in 2017. I thought they tried this when I was there. Maybe it was just a pet project of someone in Manglement. Anyway, I do remember that Manglement was irritated that associates were wasting a whole (up to) 5 minutes clocking-in in the back room and then 'wasting' all that time walking back to the front of the store where they worked when they 'had' to be productive milliseconds after clocking-in. (All that unproductive time. /s)

As to @1eky's point - you DO NOT want Walmart having access to your phone. You have been warned!

You sure you want to give access? If you're smart you wouldn't. Read the fine print..

I wish they had that when I worked there!
