There was a time not that long ago Lowe’s paid better than the majority of retailers, NOT anymore! And no, HD isn’t the only competitor out there to measure against.
When you have other major retailers starting pay at $15.00 per hour and higher, Lowe’s leadership needs to take a long, hard look In the mirror!
It must have took a lot of palm greasing to be named a top retailer to work for by a major publication. The so called “Customer Centric Schedule “ leaves employees with NO work/life balance. I’ve been with Lowe’s 11 years, just received a pathetic 3% raise, and still only make $2.75 per hour more than what an employee at Walmart starts at!!!
And to answer everyone who will say, why don’t I leave. Well guess what, I am leaving like the thousands who are leaving Lowe’s weekly.
