Why does my job contract stipulate that my Supervisor is a Xerox staff who doesn't talk to me, but the actual supervisor is a micro-manager bully who was intimidating the female temp staff and caused a few to leave or find another job?
Is this how Xerox prevents liability of workplace harassment? By getting an immigrant from a misogynistic culture to bully immigrant temp workers while the Canadian Xerox staff live like the feudal lords?

Wasn't in Canada but my site was very toxic. Big part of the reason I left. Heard it's worse now. Was openly threatened by a certain ethnic group almost on a daily basis, with no help or support from management. Wasn't just me, others were threatened also.
A Canadian is a Canadian and we don’t stand for that intimidation & wallet sewing c––p here. I don’t care if you were born here, 5th generation, or took the oath of citizenship yesterday. Report it to the Ministry of Labour immediately.
Its against the law to physically threaten the staff. Being a refugee or Canadian-born, or newcomer doesn't change that law.
Your Manager would NEVER do harassment on Canadian born full-time staff. Trust me. The greedy corporate raiders encourage harassment of those who are afraid to complain, such as newcomers who have to pay the rent.
Before you leave file a complaint with the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Xerox has become a toxic waste land.
The only thing you can change here is what you do next. Are you going to stay or leave and find another job? There is no complaining and it won’t get better. If you complain they just paint a target on your back. It’s been the xerox way for more than 2 decades
