LOC updates

Any updates regarding the LOC employees? Is State Farm paying relocation to the hubs? Will severance be offered?

Remember, in the states people are working from home they can let you go for any reason at anytime. It's just a matter of getting the hubs filled with your job by cheaper labor; then, if you are midpoint or higher It's a good-bye. Just know they promise you something then pull the carpet out from under you for their favor. Seen it many many times. If you have 10 years or more, be ready.

An educated guess based on documents already released to employees... Mgt employees will be required to locate to hubs. Currently, mgt with proximity or field employees had to be in an office location, LOC or Hub so the statement in the docs that they anticipate all mgt will be located in a hub is a big clue. Non mgt employees that have a unique non-claim or non-underwriting job will probably be allowed to WFH for as long as they want. Claims and UR employees will be attritted until they a very small percentage of the employee base and then maybe a transition to get rid of them.

No relocation but severance for those who qualify can’t be denied.... offered to some departments already which were not able to work from home.

When they made announcement in November, they said to continue to work from home "for now" and we will hear more by end of second quarter 2021. I suppose we will hear something soon, but hopefully its another one of those "just keep doing what you are doing until you hear more from us" type of announcements to drag this move to the hubs out even more so we can squeeze a few years out of this WHF deal.

They will never tell anyone their plans until they role it out. They preach and demand inclusion but are last in line to practice it. Beware!

Remember the labor laws in the state you are in. They got y’all where they want you. They can now make the biggest move to get rid of as many as they want with just a click of a button and not a worry in the world for them. Remember! The more they can destroy, the happier they are. So sad for a company that was built on opposite ethics.

The operating models have been too unstable for me to even think about relocating for this company. I won’t give them the chance to pull the rug out from under me after I move far away to a new city I don’t even want to live in anyway.

Paid to relocate you? Pay severance for you to leave? No! They will just put you in a job that is a bad fit for you and that you hate so you will quit. Much cheaper.
