I often wonder what the heck happened to the Farm. I’m no longer proud to say I worked there for a long time. HR and code of conduct is a joke. I have true stories that will shock you. Poor poor decisions that change every time there’s a new butt in a seat. Absolutely no vision or priorities. The new leaders brought in are even worse. No respect for employees. It’s a nightmare merry go round of egomaniacs at all levels of leadership including the very top. No accountability for bad leadership from first line on up, and employees suffer. Open your eyes and see what’s really going on. So sad.

Bring back the former leader!
I work for the company still, when friends and relatives ask about getting in they take it personally like they wouldn’t “fit in.” I’m starting to think this place is basically a PR stunt, whether it be marketing through commercials, or advertisements about the working conditions. Most of it is fake.
Boy! No matter how rich and successful I ever become and the people who I led talked about me like this, I would consider myself an utter loser of a leader. So sad!
This is what works for the nations largest insurer? No wonder they want to get rid of people! Scary minds!
Glassdoor also noted lotsa one year or less employee comments. Bias surveys, Algorithms or taking fake survey data and integrating it.perhaps Or incentivizing newer employees to do another “survey” as part of onboarding or follow up
Bias. Data is easily misused and exploitable $$$
Marketing amd public relations systematic propaganda. Digital road. SF way
Just thoughts
Yet the "door of glass" has seen the approval rating if the CEO go from 33 to 71 as of this day. Lots of high marks from "former employees" and "sales representatives." Folks must be putting fake profiles there to lift the ratings. I don't know anyone in underwriting or claims that enjoys working under these conditions- home or not. 71 percent my a.
Just look around. Take notes. Increase your situational awareness. When leadership loses sight that family is by far more important than a career, it illustrates a clear loss of values and ethics. Notice the multiple marriages, the number of divorces, and the number of people that marry within the company. Look at their titles. You may very well see a pattern. It was there before but not to the extent it is today. Leaders married and divorced three plus times and married and divorced within the company. Leaders with substance abuse and mental illness issues. Put all of this together in a business environment at today's rate eventually results in failure and you don't need technology, metrics, etc to figure that out. It's long overdue SF needs to roll up its carpet and sweep the mess under it. The kids of today see right through it moreso than they did long ago and have very little tolerance for it.
Values and ethics created the wealth of the company. I agree with what's said. I fear the values and ethics today will, in fact, destroy the wealth. It is only a matter of time. During holy week know in your heart he will win. He always does!
Forget Underwriting, Claims, Kiddos. Tired Insurance Professionals Suffer Over Reckless Decisions.
This company is a shell of what it once was because of leadership.
Technocrats acting big for the young ones or their friends hired in and interest groups mostly.
It is quite odd and the same players for years then new ones come in with their big ideas & agenda and affiliations. They get third parties & organizations. (Some political)
Until folks see the big picture and understand tech fully they should not be In leadership. It’s mostly agenda driven. The show is hard to watch and tons of money involved and good folks exploited. A sales pitch is easy for the leaders cause they don’t see the big picture. Just $$$ and power
It’s all the same players. Industry gone bad. If anyone can label it SAS, compliance, security, risk management or procurement/infrastructure amd “technical debt” it’s a free for all. Be careful who the “experts” are. Not everything is always as it always appears.
Most leaders have multiple streams of income and affiliations and university ties. The employees are treated like they are dumb robots to be tracked.
Many leaders are just long term Career path chosen folks who don’t really understand or care as long as they can show they saved money or budget and make decisions & get their bog applaud and raises and bonuses.
Scary really and not good for customers or employees. Not all are terrible but it’s clear why certain folks have the positions they do.
I never tell people where I retired from and I won't. I just smile when the pension check arrives the first of the month.
