Thread regarding First American Corp. layoffs

I didn’t get a lot of job offers in the OC but FirstAM did offer me a position. I want to stay close to home but I am worried about the reviews I have read about FirstAM concerning layoffs. In my interview FirstAM tilde me layoffs are rare but online it seems they layoff every year. Can I please get feed back on this topic? I don’t want to take a position with a company that will fire me a year later
