Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

I no longer hope for promotion

While waiting for the promotion here, I could've changed several jobs and get several promotions at each one. I’m exaggerating a bit, but I’m really disappointed because I’ve worked harder than many who have received promotion. I’m not saying I’m better than all of them, but it often seems to me that the wrong people end up getting the promotion?

If it’s so terrible, then leave and stop complaining. What are you waiting for? If you’re so fantastic and so deserving of promotion, why are you still there? Venting on social media does what exactly to help your situation improve? Help yourselves, people. No one has a bigger interest in your career than YOU, so what are you waiting for? With that whiny attitude, you aren’t worth promoting and I’m not surprised you’re being passed over no matter who you work for. Prove you don’t suck at life and stop feeling sorry for yourself. No one likes, or promotes, a selfish, whining loser.

Complainers. You can see them a mile away. I've been promoted in Schwab through both hard work and working smartly. Had nothing to do with kool aid, rear end kissing as these more runs suggest. From their attitudes, I guarantee they will never be promoted here or anywhere else.

From my experience there, it’s only bu-t kissing that gets you anywhere. Drink every drop of the Kool Aid.
