These are just some of the iconic brands still associated with Kmart & Sears to this day. When the company eventually shutters all their stores, where will these brands go? Will Wal-Mart or Target pick them up?

Kenmore has been sold. Happened weeks ago. Keeping it very quiet. Just hang in there grasping at straws ! Kenmore is just a name brand made by several companies.

I hope Whirlpool gets bought out by Wal-Mart so it stays around. It and Kenmore are great brands that need to stay.

Every brand name associated with Sears Holdings has been on the sale block for years. The name's with some value, such as Craftsman and Diehard, have already been sold. With Sears and Kmart fading into memory, the remaining names lose value with every passing day. Eddie will end up trading the Kenmore name for a couple tanks of gas to put in his yacht. There will be some payments coming in from the Craftsman and Diehard deals, which will be processed by a couple of clerks working out of a Tuff-Shed in Eddie's backyard. This will soon be what's left of Sears.
Whirlpool isn't a Sears or Kmart brand? It's a separate and very successful company. Get your facts straight.
Jaclyn Smith will probably end up going into one of those “Brand Holding Companies” that buys up old brands. Then down the road, it’ll be used for some upstart retailer, unaware that Jaclyn Smith was ever a real person.
I could see Route 66 going to Target or Wal-Mart along with the Blue Light Special.

With the exception of Kenmore, the other brands are regarded as cheap junk.
Kenmore is also regarded as cheap junk now. They used to be great (we are STILL using a Kenmore over-the-stone microwave that was installed when this house was built in 1985. It works just great. We are still using a Kenmore refrigerator from 20 years ago and a Kenmore dishwasher from 2005 (dishwasher had to have the motor replaced last December, but it was worth getting it repaired).
Now, not so much. Kenmore is mostly cheap junk that doesn't last.
