RM should be ashamed......but i will take 4M a year to destroy moral for the 1100 that are left. When is the announcement for the remaining 20% that has posted over a year ago? I cannot wait to "be in scope again".

Ever notice that the only content RM shares on Workplace and LinkedIn are about diversity employees? It’s like no one else exists.
RM, DP and MW should focus on surviving in a dying industry, not on woke social policy and vaccinations!
@1eer, Actually there is absolutely, positively and unequivocally NO evidence that diversity is a benefit at all in any company, or in any aspect of any industry. If anything, there is evidence of exactly the opposite. The best outcome is that there will be no detrimental effects and that is optimistic. Please feel free to provide any evidence of your assertion, links, etc. will be fine. We'll wait.

I'm in a technical position, I've worked with a diverse set of people in my career. It's not an issue.

Diversity actually makes the company stronger. There is lots of evidence of this. After decades of dragging our feet, it was time to catch up.

I gladly accepted the EOI when it was offered. This "woke" nonsense has been going on in the background for several years. There has been an effort to preferentially promote protected groups at the expense of the company good. It is now out in the open so you better hold onto your nose.

The problem with woke is that so many who consider themselves Allies of this or that find themselves in the crosshairs, and completely blindsided about something they have may have said, believe, or are. Wokism is a circular firing squad, a race to the bottom, where no one ever expects to be at the end of the barrel.

Agreed. Legacy noble here. We can hardly talk but many have been shocked and disappointed in the level of insanity and incompetency that exists at CVX. This is no way to run a company and the fearful thing is there is no end in sight. Pendulum has swung too far...
I just had a talk with one of my best friends here in the company and he started posting looking for jobs outside of CVX. This company is somehow lost its way. RM and DP along with MW are completely disconnected from the workforce.
This is not the CVX I used to love. It is a political environment that no longer has a Chevron Way. Just so many bad leaders that are stuck on how much their individual check is going to be at the end of the day.
At one time, we were being considered as on of the best companies to work for in the US. Now we just pay our employees well and fire people a the drop of a hat (AKA: WOKE). The people that were making a difference and holding the cohesion of the company together all got let go to meet MARC metrics.
This is not how to run a company.
Morale is in the dumpster but I doubt upper management really cares. The dividend is King and everything else is just meant to serve it.
