I’m quitting tomorrow and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Have a typed up, passive-aggressive letter ready to give them before my shift tomorrow. I got a new job with way higher pay. I am part-time at Belk, but we are so understaffed that I’ve been working at LEAST 35-38 hours a week and I get absolutely NO full-time benefits. I’ve been written up twice for call-offs (most due to emergencies) and being late (literally like 10 minutes and I always call when I am). I can’t wait to leave. They can take their “ACE THE DAY” sheets and shove them where the sun don’t shine. I plan on bypassing every email capture prompt all week because, as I’ve been told recently, it “brings down the store.” Well, let me bring you down my final week, just like you’ve brought me down the entire time I’ve worked there and NEVER commended me for anything I’ve done right, but always point out the wrongs. Good riddance, Belk. Have fun selling all those Belk-exclusive brands since every major name has pulled their contract from you. I’m off to a better job and leaving that TOXIC environment behind. 🥳

I think this week was the time-line for write ups.....saw several including myself LoL! This boat is sinking real quick! This company can't afford to pay unemployment so........get rid of 'em! This company doesn't give a rats a$$ about you! Super sad I loved my co-workers

I literally Thank God some days that I don't work there anymore. Its been a few months for me ,but the thought of not going back there brings this veil of peace over me.
I called out and am thinking long and hard about going back

Our store is only working three cashiers, so we do returns, check outside, and recovery. We're constantly at the register, due to customers. Our area becomes overwhelmed with returns and go backs. You'd think some managers would help us, but they sit in the office.
So yes, I'm thinking about quitting.
Better question… how many have gotten fired?!
