All the outsiders (markwest, Andeavor, external “experienced” hires) have brought nothing by problems and drama. Most came in thinking they new everything, and brought a good company down.
We used to bring in our own talent from local school and train them up. This was how we built the greatest refining company to exist. Once we stopped following this and allowed people from outside companies to influence our business it was all downhill. Not a single leader from markwest or Andeavor has done anything to improve the company
