Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

If you are in CX Services convince me we aren't playing the violin whiles the ship sinks

Does everyone see the writing on the wall like I do? Our portfolio and capabilities are targeted at new customers that don't have a high touch AS engagement model. The problem is there is no bridge that gives them what they need over the next 3-5 years when we hope they migrate to cloud based solutions. For instance, let's say a large enterprise just spent $200m moving to ACI or even eVPN - how long before they will get the insights they need from CX Cloud?

Directors. VPs, SPV's - if I knew what they were smoking I would invest in it.

No one can convince you that the ship is not sinking because it is obvious to anyone with half a brain that it is.

MM is doing a great job. She was hired to significantly cut costs, and eliminated thousands of jobs. This ELT is not intended to increase revenue or create new products and services... it's a cost cutting ELT

Seeing what is happening in services one could call it a global joke. Close two CX centres amidst a pandemic (we are all one cisco family mantra was silenced for a minute or two to count the extra bonus), fast forward a couple of months later, the pandemic seems to hit India and guess what, services gets hit hard. Sometimes one can only wonder why this risk was taken (except for a higher bonus for some exec levels), meanwhile people go to the cloud providers of this world who do seem to be hiring, and keeping people.
To the OP, seems I could not convince you, sorry

Nothing will change until they can maria and alvio. One thinks that BCS 3.0 is for everyone and don't book anything else. She is an absolute failure and her previous company has gotten rid of most of her mo--nic pet projects. The other is an incompetent yes man. The only positive thing "for cicso" is that they covered a few things where it applies to minority hiring. Not one thing positive has come out of hiring either of these two. It just shows even more how much of a pandering buffoon that chuck is. That guy passed his shelf life a couple of years ago and needs to be gone as well.
