I was told this yesterday. I was also told that I could be jeopardizing my job by fellow coworkers. Am I supposed to just smile at my manager and tell her how wonderful and smart she is just to feed her ego? No job is worth having your self-esteem trampled on and I refuse to allow anyone to undermine my intelligence or malign my work ethics. It’s time for me to seek other employment.

Your being railroaded. Press record on your phone when they pull you off floor to talk to you. Lock them into a conversation. Record it but never let them know your recording. Tell your manager that you do not like being talk down too. Make sure you do your job. And if any discount with customers happen flag a manager to be involved. Cover all your bases. This way all the tricks they try to throw at you. You have it all documented. It help you win a lawsuit or unemployment insurance. And yes start looking to get out. Continue making waves all the way up to Jeff G’s home. Flood him OUT!!! I have recently experienced this and unfortunately they will continue to throw your name under the bus... it’s Macy’s! No one has your back but your own so document the F*#% out of it all. I record all conversations with management in the event of retaliation!! You gotta do what you gotta do to have your own back!
