It was done because the stock price had gone below $5, which meant large institutions could not own it. Without the large institutions, it's easier for corporate raiders to swoop in and buy up available shares.
Was management attempt to make stock look attractive to the uninformed..Stock actually worth less today .
Like everything else Xerox touches it’s value has declined.More empty promises.
