Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

What would help get you motivated?

I lost all my motivation to work here. I used to work to pay bills, but now that’s not a big motivation for me either, since now I can barely pay my bills.
Realistically, it is not possible to expect a bigger raise, but at least a better atmosphere would help me get some motivation to work here... at least until I manage to find a new, better job.

There is no incentives to care. It's just a below average job now. No merit raises. Whether you work hard or not you get the same raise as a sandbagger. The medical and dental benefits get worse each year. I wish they would make this a great company to work for but it has become a politically motivated board of misdirectors who only care about themselves. It's time to move on when you wake up everyday thinking about quitting. There are much better jobs to be had if you are a diligent worker with a goid head on your shoulders.

Yeah about 20 years ago was when things began getting chipped away. I missed the 'glory days' which were from 1985-2000.

Ha. I just watched a Reddit YouTube video where the question was "When did your job just become a paycheck."
