This happened a few weeks after I started and i wasn’t really that surprised, cause in fact I kinda expected it to happen. So I was just standing at my register helping customers check out, then this guy just walks up and says “hey n—r” and at that point I was just trying to comprehend what I just heard and all I could say was “hi” and I just held my composure and checked him out but I won’t forget that, ever

Reminds me of when i first started at the store and a customer came up to me and told me a derogatory Obama joke. I should have told him he was a horrible joke teller and walked away but i was new and did not expect such bias in a public place. As i have found out, many of our customers are jack mormon type liberal minded pukes.
Absolutely walk away from that bigot. Call a MOD and report on the spot.
Then question the manager on why they checked him out instead of walking him out. Because you KNOW the manager would check them out.
Did you say anything about it? If not you should have, get someone to call a manager, me myself I would have not waited on him I would have walked if the register and made a lead go over and ring him up, and if they wanted to fire me because of it, I would have gone to the papers and let it be known. But then I am a b–ch and don't play these games
