There is no such thing as “modern southern style” anymore. Sycamore k–led Belk’s identity without first replacing it with another mission statement. A company has to have a market they direct their advertising to.
Why did they not bother to come up with another theme?
I truly believe their intentions all along were to s— it dry. So why bother.

I remember watching a video Lisa Harper made in early 2017 where she said she worked at Belk in North Carolina when she was 16, so she worked for Belk, then coincidentally got a job as CEO of Sycamore owned companies Gymboree, Hot Topic etc...then came back to Belk because she is so invested in “modern southern style”, but she spends most of her time running Rancho Pescadero a luxury boutique hotel in Cabo. Give me a break. Atleast if your gonna lie, make sure people can’t fact check
