What is going on with the bank? Why still so many bank employees?

It is likely transition employees. Even when the holdings are formally moved, there are still a lot of little things that straggle on and need attention.
Why the downvotes on a legit question, how about some honest answers? I am getting mail every day from US Bank now so it appears the transition is done. Why do we have bank employees anymore?
He can ask that question if he wants because it is legit. I reckon you are a Bank employee still who doesn't do anything but sit on his butt all day and still gets a nice paycheck. Always something for nothing w/ Bank folks.
