Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

The Harvard of State Farm

Second hand story: when Rust Jr. was at Wesleyan, he went to class in a suit every day. This was in the 70s: no bell bottoms for Jr.!

I don’t understand why IWU is treated as if it is Harvard at State Farm. It is a decent liberal arts college. Illinois, Northwestern, Wash U, U Chicago: they’re ok. Illinois Wesleyan? Now we’re talking! Leaders’ alma maters shouldn’t drive this bad of an education misalignment.

But I doubt he spent much time at the career services office. He may have had pretty good idea where he’d be hired after college.

Also all leaders should have a public list Posted of all the politicians and political action committees and companies their families own and work for. Agreed $$$$

There should be a listing of schools all executives attended. At least one went to a non accreditted school
