This is not about persuasion, people, it’s about liability.
Mandatory trainings are proof they told you the rules of the game, so you can’t sue them afterwards for their shady actions.

Wow, they even have guts to throw in questions to hinder your advancements in the training. Only XOM id–ts, HR / CLO id–ts can write this type of training. #WINNING "WeAreExxonMobil" and we always get outsmarted by our competition. Cheers! Thanks TG and the HR gang for developing this training.

Video kool-aid. Propaganda. The new and improved PAPD system was invented by TG herself, one of the finest and best and brightest ever to come along in the past 20 years, just ask her and she will tell you. And since so many have disparaged this new and wonderful program it must be because we are stupid, id–ts, so let's make a dumbed down mandatory video that even a fifth gtader can understand then they will get it and worship at the PAPD alter. ⚠️, do not stare at the video it contains subliminal messages that will cause you to become a butt kissing, upward managing, Kool aid drinking, yes man.

The only thing missing from the new assessment process is thumb screws, oh and maybe the thought police, if you don’t ‘own’ the process and results

It’s because ExxonMobil never admits a mistake. Instead, blame is shifted to someone else. The new performance assessment is a train wreck not because it was used to conduct a disguised layoff, but because employees do not fully understand its merits. We didn’t think anyone would notice what we did, but now we must go into damage control mode and make s..t up.

Omg why? 🤮
There’s like regular insanity and then Exxon just like to add another layer of insanity to everything. For all the “ we hire the brightest “ there’s so much lack of common sense.

The last phase before total obsolescence.

Yes, this mandatory training is intended to make you see that your completely negative opinion of the new relative performance assessment is the merely the result of your failure to understand its brilliance in the first place. Your understanding of it will be “corrected” in this training and all will be well.

Walk into the light!!!....
