Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Has HR ever helped you?

HR exists to protect company investments. You will get to spin your wheels and get on several conference calls with HR and your boss ’direct report. In the end nothing will be done, and you’ll be left to decide how to handle it in your own.

HR by definition protects the interests of the employer, but it is there to function as a link between the employer and the employee, so I would only somewhat agree with what @4aiy+19u5XPfM said. If an employee is not satisfied, how can his employer be satisfied? Not at all, if you look at the bigger picture.

HR is there to protect the company and take the company line ...they may act like they care for you but they do not

Send an semi-anonymous letter to their Ethics department and threaten you’ll take it to social media. That will make them act!

It’s like Frier says, “Love what you do or find it.”
