our store is operating on ONE yes ONE register open for sales and one for returns. why are they taking registers out? this is so strange.

We’ve had days with one too many call outs where there has been ONE register open, period. Returns and purchases, and any and all customer service. Granted, it’s only for an hour or so (at which point there’s TWO open, lol!), but it’s hard on both the associates and customers. I wouldn’t shop there.
I am sure this is a sign of the beginning of the end for Belk unfortunately
