i agree. we have apch here. my ap boss wants to do what home office requires us to do. but the store manager. does it his way. i would think that my ap boss would listen to his boss. they have us doing just about every thing else. instead of doing what we are suppose to do; so the the stealing rate just go up more. so who does run are ap? the store manager or his boss? the store manager just a wimp!!!!!!!

They just posted new roles and responsibilities this week. They rebranded the strategy this week. Would be weird move to then eliminate them.

First heard talk of the APASM position going away way back in early 2019. Surprised is hasn’t happened yet. Mapm is a waste of payroll and oxygen so no loss there if that position goes away.

I believe it has been phasing out ever since they combined APM to APASM. You can't have two supervisors and be on the same page company wide. I see apa going under the fe coach but where does that put claims? Under receiving coach or fe coach? Market AP I think would dissolve also.

Never see the APM at my store usually in her office or see her come out and get subway for lunch then back in her office. Our front end coach is rude and disrespectful. Walmart has awful management maybe it would be half decent place if their management was better.

It is going away, along with ACCM. Probably in the next 12-18 months. Lazy AP OP Leads(MAPMs) will now have to do a little work, instead of reading off slides on conference calls and walking stores looking for something to get someone in trouble.

Is that what the new associate theft prevention program (or whatever it's called) doing?

So many of our tools are open for all managers to use on the AP hub. The grid is gone for the most part. APAs research internals and the only thing we do is interview internals. We can’t do schedules. I see apasm going away real soon.

That’s another Walmart mistake putting the store manager in control of them. It should be separate to catch fraud. Management is sometimes a part of that problem.
