No individual performance evaluations

Explain why we were forced to waste so much time on preparing self evaluations?

Also if no Evaluations, does that mean no raises? I can’t see how you could do one without the other? Is that just me reading between the lines?

Grateful to have a job and small bonus...but my bonus won’t even catch up on my 30% pay cut last year. Like I said, more than expected, but seriously?

Agree. Also, there is a lot of work assigned that is simply not required and adds little or no value. When you don’t have regular layoffs this is what you get.

@1ava+19x7rBMP Not young and inexperienced, but as someone that is forced to work 60 hour weeks, while others sit on their A**** doing nothing, it’s quite disappointing. It’s clear that many managers have no idea of the workload of their employees, or if they do they don’t want to report that they have people with no work because it would reflect bad on them. Oxy definitely needs to clean house of dead weight employees and managers.

Strong performers and hard workers carry the company, yet the low performers received the same bonus as the high performers. Yea, makes sense.

So what has changed. It has always been that way. The strong performers and hard workers carry the organization. Please feel proud if you are a strong performer and hard worker. Continue what you are doing and do it well.

Wow. HR defensive much? They clearly were all poised to strike on this site as soon as the email went out.

Well at least the theory is proven wrong that they were going to put a bunch of employees on PIPs this year to make it easier to fire them. All the lazy ones have another year to get away with it now while the other half carries their load.

You guys are out of touch with reality, or have never had it hard in your life. Look around the country and Houston at all the misery, and then complain about raises and bonuses. Just a total lack of reality.
