Is Bob still unemployed? - Not a good indication of EMR promotions, development of executives, or how the company is viewed. Same story regarding Pelch!

"ComRes " put together by Bob Sharp in 2016?! - PLEASE!
Understand that the ComRes top/bottom line has been driven by the Copeland scroll compressor for many years. The product is becoming redundant as Asia competitors have copied it, & at a lower cost point. That Asia rotaries are reaching scroll capacities, & EER at an even lower cost, brings in to question the future of this business. Sharp did absolutely nothing to turn the scroll dependecy around, other than overpaying for low tec., & margin controller businesses.
His termination package was generous given his contributions, as well as his destruction of the ComRes POR.
This guy will not find a new position with responsibility/ comp close to what he was "gifted." at EMR.

I read it. My favorite part.

  1. Non-Disparagement Agreement

If inquiry is made by anyone regarding your employment by, or separation from, Emerson, you agree to state only “I have separated employment from Emerson effective September 30, 2020 and look forward to future pursuits. I have enjoyed my many years with Emerson, but it is time personally for me to move on. Emerson is a tremendous company and I wish it well.” If such an inquiry is made of Emerson, Emerson shall make similar positive statements about you.

The main Shareholder Value metric is stock price, and where do you think the EMR stock price would be without the strong C&RS growth and cash generation right now? My guess is back closer to $70 since AS sales are still falling.

You have no idea what happened.

Also, note that ComRes has been the strongest performing platform since Sharp put it together in 2016, and this is expected to continue at least through 2023 based on the investor meeting guidance this week. That is a lot of value.

Pretty normal for executives to have severance agreements typically for one or two years.
