Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

My day depends on the mood of my manager

It's become hard for me to continuously worry about my manager's mood, and we all know that a lot depends on the manager and his attitude towards us, including whether we will keep the job or not.
I can’t stand such a narcissist anymore.
I talked to a colleague who works in another store, her manager is much different and much more objective, so I'm thinking about changing the store where I work.
If someone's done that already, would you please share your experiences?

I agree with above. You will get a new manager and wanna move again. Point is. Just learn to deal with them. I had one of thee worst managers I ever saw at Macy’s. They finally laid her off last year. She was down right nasty , unprofessional, and there was tons of complaints on her. She was promoted to another store.

Part of being an adult is being able to transverse among different personality types. This isn't a Macy's issue, It's a human being issue. Not sure why you would post such a thing here. It's got nothing to do with Macy's per se.

And then you will get a new manager six months from now who is just as bad and you start looking for a third store.
