I was laid off in August. I have found another job in which I enjoy the people but not enjoying the job. I was recently asked back. (Hourly supervisor or asm position) I left an hourly supervisor/key holder. At the time I liked my job but hated the manager (he was TOTALLY incompetent) he's now leaving and the new Manager asked me back on. I'm kinda at a standstill and need some opinions. I worked for Baby for SEVERAL years. My heart is pulling me back...help...

A lot of people were called to come back. Follow what you feel. And ASM positions DO still exist in the right volume for the right people. You can’t listen to everyone else.
You won’t be brought back as an ASM, it’s not a position anymore. So no upward movement or security.
If you got off the Titanic why would you jump back on? Let common sense guide you my young Padawan.
If you want to go back, then go ahead. If it doesn't work out, then at least you will know the outcome so you're not always wondering whether you should have taken the offer or not.
