The Best IT Reorg Ever (*this week - as opposed to prior reorgs in prior weeks)

For those following along at home - we had another IT reorg. Wow it even had a org chart that covered 2 or maybe 3 levels of the same people (you know who I am talking about). And something about fusion Asian dishes or something fusion anyway? So now we are back to the way we were before current leaders came from Aetna (there's a classy outfit for sure). Sure feels like a validation of that we had it right the first time.

Follow-up from anyone after that email and 1 page chart? Zero, zilch, nada. I guess that we are all just waiting for the next reorg. And yet the retirements continue, and the leaking of the best resources continues. That s—ing sound is the brain drain reaching past critical. Time to find some grit and make some actual smart business decisions. A waste of time and talent.

Also friend if you don't know about a reorg - I think that tells you everything that you need to know. Start looking - you are the winner of the loser contest in this round.

What area in IT was reorged? Who sent out the notice and who did it go to? I have not been able to locate any notice.

We will probably get scr*wed on the incentive too just like CAD. By the way, anyone see a policy about CAD and if you make over x amount, NO INCREASE FOR YOU - even if you were rated above target? Such a great way to reward performance! Can't wait for the snarky response that "If you don't like it, leave"!

Pretty incredible to listen to leadership defend going back to the way CareFirst was by pretending that "its not the same!" because the departments have a new name this time.

Wonder how many millions CareFirst spent on consultants to tell us we need three re-orgs in two years that get us right back to where we were? Hoping that the executives at least got some kickbacks out of all this spending, otherwise this was just pure incompetence.
