I just noticed macysjobs is down and is being redone 2nd thing is they hired McCarthy partners
to help them with everything.
3rd they have out a new job title of sales customer service and cleaning associates.. did they let go the outside cleaning crew? tons of ops/vs , store manager jobs, asset protection jobs open ... did everyone bail? plus there is some meeting on the future of M coming next week?
all sounds fishy... what is your thoughts?
The system is down to make a new one. The cleaning associate is for Covid. It’s your high touch point associate. Nothing new
Man do sales and clean toilets that's a deadly combo. Imagine dealing with a rude customer one minute then being called to clean an unflushed toilet and picking up worn merchandise from homeless people.
New titles mean you get to do sales and clean toilets while being paid $7 an hour.
This isn't what you are making it out to be about the systems shutdown. It's a good thing. Wil be much improved when we get the new one in a few weeks.
Well they are consolidating and moving some HR systems into one more streamlined one so that’s why the shutdown and freeze. Don’t know anything about this McCarthy situation. As far as new job titles, my guess is because they no longer have dvc sales so a new title when they converted and made new job codes for non commission positions. Just my guess.
