Does anyone know of any rumors of layoffs this year and if so which areas? I know Allstate said layoffs would last the next few years

The powers that be don't give a rat's patoot about the chats holding in RMBC or anywhere else. They don't care that employees are stressed and behind and can't keep up. The more they can push to their breaking point and quitting the less souls to have to pay severance out to in the long run. Their tactic us to beat the employees down so much that they voluntarily quit so no severance or benefits have to be paid out. It is mental abuse at its slimy worst.
And if the bottom line means more heads need to be cut in RMBC and other areas then so be it. The number of chats holding and the state of employee stress and work conditions are of zero concern to them and their personal 7 and 8 figure bank rolls mean more than you and I.

Pretty much all US claims will be gone by the end of the year. We are even training and certifying India employees for property adjusting and requiring customer responsibility if self service as part of their policy agreement in many states. Kind of like how customers can now write and bind their own insurance online.
It’s going to be all areas across the company again. TW said it in a tow hall. They achieved last years mark, now they are going to double it this year. Headcount is the only way to get there.
Are you with auto or property? Everyone keeps saying claims, but there are many different claim jobs.
Claims will be laying off most of its US workforce by end of this year. We have already been told we will not be going back to the office because of this. Our manager already told us we should start updating resumes and network with other companies.
I see plenty of agents leaving lately either by choice and others by quotas

A lot of word on these boards and also around the virtual water cooler that claims is getting hit very hard this year starting in March or April. Time will tell.
