Every day around me I see only frightened workers who have so far failed in their job hunting. The company uses that in various ways and it hurts me a lot.
My older colleague agrees to do the hard work, that essentially shouldn’t be hers at all, just so she wouldn’t be a target for dismissal.
Someone wrote that they totally lost the motivation to work and to do only what was necessary, but my view is different. The company now gets people to do and agree to almost anything. It's very sad.

Normally a company will tell you "hard work pays off" but in the M's case they've lost track of that. No matter how much work you put in how much sweat and how professional and great you are with dealing with customers if you're under union and only been with the company for a short amount of time they're giving you the X. Whereas alot of the older colleagues, at least the ones I've worked with, are the complete opposite but they know their job is safe cause they've been there longer. What annoys me is when some of the older ones always talking about they wanna quit but don't and that leaves the newer but more hungry ones to get the boot. M doesn't value hard work they value the almighty $ and follow the stupid books.
Your "older colleague" has a work ethic that's quite often missing in the younger crowd.
all I can say is "F* Macy's". Seriously. The company can go f itself and cease to exist for all I give a f**. It's a dumb ghetto store with broke as a joke losers who are desperate for little cash. The white man cooperate of Macy's is making all the dough, NOT YOU!!!! Your only the donkey-jackass slave, Get a better job. Macy's is bullc-ap.
