Musings

I heard that Concho had 12 (twelve) supply chain people. Is that true?

Pioneer has 120+ people in Supply Chain and they’re just Permian. Everyone has a different model.

I’m sure COPhas a lot more than 12 supporting Permian

I can imagine ConocoPhillips having a lot more Supply Chain employees because its a global company. Concho wasn't.

COP has about 950 IT people too, SLB only has a few hundred more despite have 9-10x the tots global headcount. We’re heavy in a lot of areas.

Why does COP have so many supply chain people in comparison?

maybe a few more than that. They also spent 2.5 billion last year in the Permian and had some of, if not the best vendor pricing in the industry

I think most of those were materials management. Maybe only 4 or 5?
