Starting with Gucci. Company left to sell through previously purchased shoe stock. This is part of a growing trend of vendors severing ties with the company and selling via their own platforms. Winter is coming... Check .com or your local store to confirm. Designer was one of Nordstrom’s old faithfuls, without that Halogen, Zella, and TopShop surely couldn’t keep the lights on.

Well if they stopped distribution to designer, it would make it much easier to transform shoes into self service shoe department. This could at least happen at the lower tier of stores. Cut the shoe department in half and just have them fill in shoes on the sales floor.
They already started this by getting rid of the “floor watchers” in most stores.
I could be wrong however, I believe as of 2021 Macy’s got rid of commission in shoes expect in herald sq. Food for thought Erik
Lol @happytargetshoppers they messed up online orders cuz management team hired pretty much everyone/ seasonals that came in dropping off their resumes for the holidays. Only 10% is decent. The rest wouldn’t even check the shoes before pulling.
Zara looks more appealing using models who don't have their heads cut off lol
“Halogen, Zella, and TopShop” lol
Just go to Zara folks
Figured this was just a matter of time... direct to consumer is the new reality for a lot of companies.
Even now it seems Nordstrom struggles with online fulfillment... customers still complain of slow shipping and messed up orders.
"The Amazon of fashion" haha, as if 🙄
