The Lost Ogle has a great new article on this failure of a ceo's current home value. He screws up everything he touches. He overpaid for everything, including his own home. He can't manage anything correctly. No wonder he destroyed this company. He can't even manage his own finances. To everyone let go last week, please know that you are better off no longer under the management of this world class jerk.

Boo! I obviously never get on The Lost Ogle to know that it's paid content now, unless you catch an article within the last 24 hours of it being posted.
CHK would not exist if it was not for Aubrey. He always believed in taking care of his employees. Unfortunately, he spent a lot of money on everything. Doug walked into a huge amount of debt. It was almost impossible to pay that down.
What the heck are you talking about? Aubrey sure was the cult figure, but he is the one who created the majority of the debt.
Aubrey had a charismatic gift and the ability to generate more cash when needed via his amazing relationship building skills and working out partnerships and joint ventures. No he wasn't perfect but I am confident that the company would not be in as terrible shambles it is in today if he were still at the helm. He helped Oklahomans grow jobs, invest in charities, and he cared about the planet, clean energy, and ESPECIALLY the people. DL has never cared.
Aubrey didn’t know how to manage because he came from a wealthy family. He thought he would have unlimited money.
The current home value doesn’t matter until he sells his property.
What about Mr. McClendon?
Not surprising. When you get a chance to converse with Doug you’ll find out he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. But he’s definitely a tool.
