We had a full timer resign recently for family reasons unrelated to work. When asking the SM about replacing the full time position he seemed unconcerned and wasn’t interested in hiring or “promoting” anyone for that position. So there’s that. Maybe a one off.
I can confirm the layoffs listed earlier in this thread. However I cannot confirm this “major meeting” one speaks of. I would expect more to come....but I don’t know details.
If you are worried about insurance this board is NOT the place to confirm anything. People can write anything they want..
If someone can verify this conference call. Some of us of do need this job I have a wife going in for a serious surgery and need to know if I’m going to have insurance
This is a bunch of BS. No conference call only people trying to cause fear. Go home
If it was a company wide call why doesn't anyone know about it? Smh
This was a company wide conference call with are hero ceo. Big layoffs are coming
Or Spanish is ok too. I can translate!
What the hell is going on? Can someone explain all of this please in English?
Yes exactly it is every month we have to worry it’s horrible. The person that was on the conference call. Just say it instead of telling half of what you heard
What part of the country was this conference call could you give a little more detail. Do we have to go through this every month?. If Covid it isn’t stressful enough. We all have to worry about losing our jobs every month. I’m surprise more of us having died from heart failure due to stress about worrying about our jobs and having so many unrealistic expectations.
Is this in all stores full timers being let go?
I'm sorry not nationwide
I'm not sure where this info is coming from. Every store is different. I'm sure this is nationwide
Was told on our phone conference Friday the layoffs will be huge and hard to recover from. Hang on everyone
Is there a source or confirmation on this? My DM is about as transparent as a cinder block wall. If it’s been decided he has chosen to say nothing to his teams before heading on vacation...
It’s not anyone full time- dept sups are excluded from this.
Is there severance for the full time associates.
Are all full timers gone by the end of the month?
This has been a plan the whole time. Started in New Jersey letting go of full timers and will slowly makes it way up and down North East region.
Can anyone verify that there was a conference call about all full timers being let go at the end of February?
What about ASMs?
Or is this all rumor?
Why just Florida? Getting rid of full timers?
The NE already cut managers down the last go round. Did that not happen in Florida? You take another manager out of an A volume it only leaves you the Store Manager and 1 Assistant!
This just in forces that no one or no store is safe.
They need to satisfy the stock holders. Bottom line is profit. They will cut as much as they can. Hang on everyone it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
Phone conference on Tuesday am in Florida we were told all full-time associates will be let go end of February plus one Manager each store
Yep I heard 4 dms too. This is the beginning of the end. Mark my words.
Good riddance
All full-time being let go in Florida end of February. Heads up

Didn't hear any of that regarding DMs
As well as a couple of DMs
