When COP does layoffs we make sure to keep everyone anxious and in the dark while patting ourselves on the back for our transparency and care. Not sufficient waiting for a pandemic, we must wait for Houston to freeze over. Snow Problem!

Transparent: adjective— having thoughts, feelings, or motives that are easily perceived.
Example: leadership at COP is transparent in that they care not one bit about the health, safety, or mental well being of their employees. They only give a damn about wringing every penny they can from the badly floundering, sinking ship that is Conocophillips.
They talk about transparency all the time, but they can't even tell us the exact date of the layoffs in my team ... what a failure ...

Good thing I opted for 4WD, don't wanna miss my chance to sit in my office waiting for a MS teams call telling me to pack my shift and home. Finally deemed non-essential, no more SPIRIT for me!
Sure am excited to drive in the snow on a public holiday with kids at home to get laid off via Teams.
