Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Dealing with Askhr, aka HR

Anyone else having issues or concerns with our obvious overseas HR. Emails are awful and it's like playing tag, I only get responses at 3am. Thete is an obvious language barrier when it comes to trying to communicate a problem

It's concerning that these people deal with all of my personal information, bank info, w2's ect.

By creating 3 new business's they are setting up the sale of everything else. Locally we have received an email that we will be servicing Lexmark equipment. Wouldn't surprise me a bit that Lexmark will be taking over the service end of things. As far as Xerox's new business's....good luck...Software we s— at, Financing....I mean really, we haven't got that right for the last 20 years. And Innovations? No Rand D, no new ideas, NO innovations....all smoke and mirrors to get someone to buy the less lucrative parts of Xerox....

They’re really grabbing at straws now; splitting Xerox into 3 new business's....there are not nor have been not been any successful marketable “Innovations” in the last 15+years, it takes cash to & justify a “Finance” group and “Software” are they still betting on “Docushare”, good grief!

@1esz+19kOh6Hi while I agree with a lot the only caveat is XBS will be what it was before. Sales channel. They'll outsource the manufacturing to Lexmark whom just signed a $100m contract for us to service there stuff. And Xerox will continue to shrink costs to what I just said - sales channel. Get rid of all the BS and hoard cash. The reason for the split is so we can divest and get the engineering and R&D off the bottom line. We'll be one (big) reseller but a smaller company. Less risk, higher earnings. Higher profit compared to lower revenue. The goal now is to pay high earnings to shareholders year over year, not sell the company. No offense but most of don't feel bad for the engineering and R&D - the country has shifted as much as the industry. Company needed to be shrunk 15 years ago to a sales channel but no one did it.

The "real" Xerox will no longer be around the middle of the summer. XBS people...Xerox Direct people...will all be sold off... Xerox just created 3 new business's....Software, Financing, and Innovations. And for good reason. The old Xerox we all new will be history...Icahn will sell them all for a profit...Covid just sped up the Icahn takeover scenario. Visentin (Johnny Vas---ne) wasn't brought on to make Xerox GREAT again...He is a corporate raider and he is good at it (Think Hertz and Pan American taken down by Icahn). While you XBS guys think you have all this under control, I think if you take a closer look at what is transpiring (3 new business's?) Xerox is moving out of the service business, and into a new profitable business model. Pat yourself on the back if you must but XBS will just be a figment of your imagination in the very near future...

Billing is different from HR and that is different from Benefits. So the responsiveness varies. But my experience getting them (AskHR) to even comprehend my question has been dismal. When they do finally get it, the time to respond is unacceptable. Comes with offshoring. This is why many forward thinking companies ditched the offshore customer call centers- the customers complained. Here, we employees are the customers but the company doesn’t care if we are happy. Quite the opposite, they love unhappy employees that quit so that severance and termination costs are avoided.

@1dlq+19kOh6Hi the real Xerox is XBS. 1 service channel already. Most XBS regions have already absorbed the agents budgets and operations into their group for delivery and service model. Same will be for direct by end of '21. XBS will be delivering for direct. Stop with the nonsense.

False. We use HCL for billing and I'm on calls and emails all day in real time. They shift their hours to work with each region regardless of what time time zone you're in. Keep this site to relevant info.

No troll bro... It's real life and as soon as your XBS group is absorbed by "the real" Xerox (happened here just recently) you will have the thrill of talking to an India based (HCL) HR group. Remember India is 12 hours ahead so 3am to them is 3pm to the USA. The shortest response was 3 days...the longest a week and 2 days. Totally terrible but what can you do?

XBS has local HR business partner in each region. They work right out of our offices. This post is a troll.

Should be illegal. Completely useless. Call the 800 number on your paycheck, see where that takes you... no where. Unbelievable really.

Been @ X 5+ years. HR has been a joke the entire time. Never did get an onboarding packet or a welcome here are the resources/benefits email. Finally got my Mgr to give the website to sign up for everything. Its a joke and a bad one at that. Was ready to leave before covid hit. Hope the local economy picks back up soon so I can put this chapter of my life behind me. Good lower level people but once u go up 2 or 3 rungs on the ladder, its pitiful with no direction or clue other than another resume bullet for them.....such a S#%^ Show.....
