Most people said they can do their job virtually now, so I am not sure why you choose to be selective about this task.
As long as they pay me the right amount, then who cares who tells me and how they do it.

Wouldn't surprise me. Pioneer did their second round of layoffs virtually as well.
The same logic used to decide to conduct layoffs virtually should have been the same logic used to conduct day to day business virtually.
But why should I expect consistent logic at this point.

Something about HR not wanting to be in a conference room with every person on in a group, because you know, COVID and all.
